Around 200 participants at WIPR forum on UHH's financial situation

The 90 minutes passed quickly: After an introductory presentation (accessible on the UHH network or via VPN), the up to 170 colleagues connected via zoom and around 40 colleagues present exchanged views on previous experiences and perspectives in dealing with underfunding. The forum participants unanimously adopted these declarations without abstention:

Die Forumsteilnehmer:innen fordern den WIPR dazu auf, sich auf geeignete Weise (z.B . im Akademischen Senat und seinen Ausschüssen) dafür einzusetzen , dass von der BWFG kurzfristig Maßnahmen ergriffen werden , um die Umsetzung der schädlichen Sparmaßnahmen zu vermeiden und die strukturelle Unterfinanzierung der UHH dauerhaft zu beenden.

Die Forumsteilnehmer:innen fordern den WIPR dazu auf, sich bei der Universitätsleitung dafür einzusetzen , dass Qualifikationsstellen (bspw. Verlängerungen von Promotionsstellen ) grundsätzlich von Sparmaßnahmen ausgenommen bleiben.
